About this editorial team

Pierre Gobert has worked the Belgian gambling beat since 2019 and tests every operator personally where land casinos always comes first. Works from Namur.

How we test. every test starts with a real account, carry out a real deposit, file a withdrawal request and measure it through to the account. The licence check happens at the source, not at the operator and read the bonus terms line by line.

The outbound links earn us a fee; that does not change what the review says. Even with a well-paying partner the verdict holds.

Weekly limit, age bar and exclusion

The Belgian legislator approaches player protection notably strictly by European standards with effects you cannot route around. Every licence holder opens your account at €200 per week. Adjusting downwards works right away, going beyond that takes a review and time.

Exclusion runs centrally through the EPIS register: after registration no licensed operator grants you access. Registering costs nothing. For casino, gaming hall and betting the bar has been 21 since September 2024; 18 still applies at the National Lottery alone. The check is automatic.
